Web Based Recruitment System for Agency XYZ

Design and build a web based recruitment information system integrated with the company profile for Agency XYZ, delivered iteratively with the Scrum framework.

Business context.

Agency XYZ's legacy Webflow site was static and could not manage a dynamic, self maintained database. As a result the recruitment process was spread across disconnected channels — neither centralized nor documented — and the site failed to represent the agency's profile and portfolio to prospective clients. The project set out to replace that with an integrated recruitment and company profile platform the agency could run on its own.

Analysis approach.

  • Ran the project with Agile Scrum: an ordered product backlog broken into sprints, driven through sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective with sprint duration adapted to six days per week based on team feedback.
  • Delivered eight product backlogs: company profile & landing page, careers page, job application form, admin authentication, job vacancy management, applicant data management, website CMS, and business partnership CRM.
  • Designed the system with UML (use case, class, and activity diagrams) and an Entity Relationship Diagram, then built it on the Laravel framework with a PostgreSQL database.
  • Validated each backlog with unit testing and black box testing, then ran a task based User Acceptance Test with 15 respondents across internal (back office) and external (public) user groups.

Conclusion.

With a combined User Acceptance Test score of 86.84% ("Highly Feasible"), the system met its objective: it centralizes the recruitment flow, standardizes applicant intake, and strengthens Agency XYZ's digital profile — validated by both the internal team (94.55%) and public users (85.54%).

From a static site to a self managed recruitment platform.

Agency XYZ's Webflow site was static and could not manage a dynamic database, leaving recruitment scattered across channels and the company profile under-represented to clients. This project rebuilt it as a web-based recruitment system integrated with the company profile — job vacancies, applicant data, website content, and business-partnership leads all managed from one admin dashboard.

The build followed the Scrum framework: an ordered product backlog broken into sprints and run through sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and retrospective. Eight product backlogs were delivered company profile & landing page, careers page, job application form, admin authentication, job vacancy management, applicant data management, website CMS, and a business partnership CRM designed with UML and an ERD, then built on Laravel with PostgreSQL and validated through unit, black box, and acceptance testing.

Very helpful and easy to use all of the website features are already very clear.
